Prometric Test Centers (PTC) are professional testing facilities dedicated to providing industry-leading testing services to all candidates. From the workstations to the furniture, every testing lab is identical to every other in all aspects other than size. The number of workstations ranges from six to nineteen in any given lab.
Each PTC is configured with a waiting room, rest rooms, and often an adjacent break room adjacent. Prometric is able to provide this level of standardization because we own all of the equipment, hardware, furniture, etc., in use throughout the testing network. Corporate ownership of computer equipment also ensures that the routine maintenance schedule is followed and equipment upgrades occur when needed.

Candidate Registration and Payment | | Registering for and scheduling an examination with Prometric is easy and convenient. Your testing candidates have several registration methods from which to choose, including online, telephone, or through the test sponsor's facilities. |
Candidate Registration via Web | Undoubtedly, the most convenient and efficient means of scheduling examinations is through Prometric's on-line registration system. Features include:
Candidate Web access to real-time scheduling 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. Instant on-screen confirmation and a follow up e-mail confirmation of their appointment details. Display of test sponsor logo and test program details on our online registration Web site. Test banner for the test sponsor's Internet home page, linking candidates directly to the registration site. Scheduling software that ensures each candidate's information is properly collected, they are scheduled for the appropriate examination, and they are not over-booked within the testing centers. |
Candidate Registration via Phone | Candidate examination scheduling services are also provided via telephone through Prometric's global Candidate Services Contact Centers (CSCC). The Contact Centers can schedule exam appointments in their geographic region and our customer service representatives speak in languages native to the region.
Prometric will provide toll-free registration phone numbers to allow any testing candidate in the world access to register with Prometric. Prometric's state-of-the-art Contact Centers provide scheduling services as well as other services to support testing candidates. Globally, we handle over 10 million candidate contacts annually.
CSCC staff is trained in the specifics of every testing program we support, ensuring your certification program specifics are accurately represented. The staff is qualified to assist and accommodate myriad multi-lingual examinations globally. Optionally, a test sponsor may choose to use our fulfillment services for promotional and pretest materials or request routing of specific candidate requests for information.
Each Contact Center Representative (CSR) can quickly register a candidate, collect payment or schedule and confirm appointments with Candidates. |
Candidate Payment | At the time of registration, candidates are required to provide payment information. Prometric processes most major forms of credit card payment.
After paying for the test, the candidate can schedule a convenient time and location for the exam. |
Vouchers | | Some test sponsors offer their candidates vouchers in lieu of credit card payment. Prometric offers an extensive voucher system that can be used to help promote your certification program. |
